Third trip : Korat

Hello everyone! Welcome back to Miami is traveling.

Korat 31 Dec 2015

Expense
Fuel 900 baht
Food 1500 baht
Others 200 baht

Total 2600 baht

*This price was all 6 people. We have a car and food.  I was not sure about how much does it cost for traveling in Korat because it is a very big city, actually it is the biggest city in Thailand and each place we went was really far away from each other. It was 100 km away from one place to another and 60 km away. Of course it was not Bangkok, you cannot rely on public transportation.

We started the first spot with this amazing view! The wind park and garden. I must say that it is so hard to find windmill in Thailand but luckily, I found them there. That´s why we need to stop and take some cool pictures.

Then we went to Ban Lai temple. This temple is one of the most famous temple in northeast Thailand at Ban Lai is located in Dan Khun Thot. One main reason is the temple is very beautiful. There is one big building which look like elephant. One more thing, according to Thai news, they said that this building is cost more than 10 million baht and you can enjoy tens of millions of pieces of colorful ceramic there! There is one thing that any other temples does not have which is how to make a merit. We used smart card to donation. There are many stations in this museum and each station cost 30 baht but there also other things such as Luang Pho Khun photo or his biography book.

Here you are, one of the most wonderful attraction I have been so far "Jim Thomson Farm". it is located in Pakthongchai and it is far way from Dan Khun Thot about 100 km. and it took about 1.30-2 hours. The way to Jim Thomson Farm is very easy, they have many signs to show which way we should go. It is really far away from the main road but all the thing there is convenience. First of all, if you don't have car, it seemed like they provide car from the city to Jim Thomson Farm too but I don't know where you can catch it.

Even though the entrance ticket is very expensive but what we paid is convenience and I think that it is worth for. They have many train that can send you from station to another station. Reason why they provide a train is because from where we entranced to where we could take picture is very far and each station is far from each other. However, you can walk too! and I decided to choose this because I can see flower fields and enjoy beautiful scenery.

The highlight at Jim Thomson farm are Cosmos Fields, Sunflower Fields, Pumpkin, E-Sarn Village, and Jim Thomson Market.

Cosmos Fields: This is the main reason why I want to go to Jim Thomson Farm, the cosmos farms are the biggest farm there!

Sunflower Fields: There 2-4 sunflower fields there and you can also walk into that farm and enjoy taking picture with bees :)

Pumpkin: At first I thought the pumpkin would be bigger than this but well the size is what you can see in these photo. So I a little bit disappointed.

E-Sarn Village: This is another highlight and I'm pretty sure it is a must! You can enjoy tradition food, activities, festival (they have a E-san show!) Moreover, you can feed and ride buffaloes there.

Jim Thomson Market: It is where you can drink tea and eat pizza which is so delicious and you can where products there. The price is pretty high but if you compare with the quality, I think it's worth for.

Last place we went was Bonanza Exotic zoo. This place is the hardest place I've ever been. I can say that without google map, I will never find this place. So for me, my personal opinion, I will not suggest you to go there, sorry :(

Enjoy blogging :D
